I am absolutely loving it and will probably never go back to console gaming again, but this has been a rather steep learning curve.Īny help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. If you have an official support request or problem, we can not help you with that as we do not work for Dell. I got this laptop to run CNC programs like mastercam, solidworks, autodesk, ect for college and decided to get this model to start PC Gaming as well. Im extremely new to PC gaming as I've spent most of my life on playstation consoles. Problem 2: This monitor has AMD free-sync and not G-sync but from the reading i did to try and learn about this subject, is it true that nvidia supports free-sync now?Īttempted solution 1: I went into nvidia control panel and global 3D settings and set my preferred graphics driver to the high performance nvidia processor. only through the main system control panel OR intel graphics command center. Problem 1: I don't have any display settings through the nvidia control panel. I read this directly outputs from the RTX and not through intel graphics (hopefully im correct on that?) and that this would help give me a better refresh rate than using HDMI. I am currently using a display port to thunderbolt USB-C cable and using the small display port on the left side of the laptop. Im trying to set up the free sync and I'm a little confused and could really use some advice to best optimize this display. its a Dell S2719DGF, 144hz, 1ms response.

I recently purchased a 1440p dell gaming monitor. Its the RTX 2060 model with the i7-9750h, 32gb ram upgrade, and some hard-drive upgrades. So i recently purchased a dell 17" G7 last month.
